Job Description for ITC Infotech Job
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and Architect global Active Directory Infrastructure, including, design, and implementation of Replication, Group Policy, DNS, and Domain consolidation for large-scale organizations.
- Responsible for the design and architecture of the global backup and recovery of Active Directory
- Utilize logical problem solving to find creative solutions to problems in the environment on a broad scale.
- Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades Active Directory performance monitoring and capacity planning, problem analysis, and recovery
- In-depth knowledge in Azure AD, Federation services, Microsoft identity management
- In-depth knowledge of PKI / Certificate service management.
- Extensive PowerShell scripting experience is a strong plus
- Working experience in OpenLDAP/ Puppet master will be added advantage
- In-Depth Knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating System
- In-Depth knowledge of DHCP
- In-Depth Understanding DHCP Failover or any redundancy options.
- In-Depth Understanding of DHCP options (PXE, VOIP, etc.)
- Work with stakeholders and other technical teams to collect business and technical requirements and design / deliver enterprise-level solutions.
- Owns and leads discussions with business and technical information technology solution implementations, integration, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions and recommend the solutions accordingly.
- Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for the knowledge base, Resolve internal customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting.
- Work flexible schedules, which will include evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Perform 24×7 on-call responsibilities during scheduled periods
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6 to 15 years experience in an IT-related role or comparable education. Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, PowerShell, Certificate services, PKI, Federation Services, Microsoft Identity Manager
- Good understanding of a virtualized infrastructure environment using VMware technologies.
- Good understanding of Linux concepts like OpenLDAP, LVM, Disk Space and User Group Management, Backup & Recovery, Performance issues, Health check, file system administration, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing professional office environment. Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent analysis, troubleshooting, and communications skills.
- Ability to provide detailed case notes according to internal procedures and standards of quality,
- Driven and responsible, requiring a minimal amount of supervision.
- Passion for taking care of the customer and resolving the customer’s problems.
